Stiffy?

How much stiffer is the suspension on the sport vs. the non-sport car?

Is everyday driving jaring and uncomfortable or is it just slightly tighter over the bumps?

I can't comment on the non-Sport suspension since I haven't driven one...........but the Sport is not uncomfortable at all to drive. I was somewhat concerned that it would be too harsh and stiff of a ride, but that's definitely not the case. I don't think you should be worried about the Sport being jaring, uncomfortable, or too stiff. Maybe some other owners will post their impressions as well.

The reason I ask is I really like the sport seats, wheels and paddle shifters, but I worry about a bone jaring ride. I had an A4 a few years back with the sport suspension and if the tire pressures were not just right...Man, it was one stiff and pretty uncomfortable ride!

I certainly don't think so. Like I said, I was very concerned about that as well, since I have a baby arriving very soon and I didn't want too harsh of a ride for the little one in the back. Now that I have the Sport, I am no longer concerned.

I've had several people in my sport and not one has said the ride was too harsh, and I drive in San Francisco a lot where streets are not always the smoothest. IMO not a problem.

Not a problem, but if you are that sensitive, test drive both

I took my father (who is very sensitive) for a ride and he thought it felt pretty good.

I test drove both.. The sport version has stiffer shocks and bushings. A bit firmer ride, not harsh just firmer. It has less body roll than the non sport. If you like taking cornres at a brisk pace, than the sport might be a better choice.. If you want the best supple ride possible, go non-sport
