I was just wondering how people are finding the wear to the tires. I expect the pretty powerful rear drive to be reasonably hard on performance tires, the fronts probably a bit better. I suppose it's pretty early to say given the limited K's most people have travelled but I figure that people might have noticed a variation one way or the other.

The wear you get out of your tires depends on which tire was installed from
the factory. Michelins, should get some where close to 28K miles give or take
a mile or two. Bridgestones, if your lucky could reach 17K miles on a good day. So why do G35 owners replace their B/S tires with more B/S............
the answer is simple as they are.........they don't know better!

Last time I checked on Tire Rack, there were not many options for the G35 Sport. What tires are you planning to switch to?

The Goodyear Eagle RSAs on my X are showing no signs of anything over the first 1300 miles. If I replace them I would probably go back to the Kumho Ecsta ASX. I had them on my Z and drove the hell out of them with absolutely no issues - performance or otherwise. Plus, they were an incredible tire for the price - maybe $75 e from Tirerack.
