I went to download the non-tagged songs on my HDD to the compact flash card, but in the instructions they say to have the car search for the names again in the menu before proceeding. Its wont light up in the menu no matter what i do??? Anyone else have this? Does the compact flash card need to be empty for this to work? I dont understand why it wont let me do it myself? It does it automatically when i turn on the music box? Anyone have some insight? thanks..

 

non-tagged - i am guessing you're talking about ID3 tags in MP3s. just retag your MP3s - http://www.mp3tag.de/en/index.html

 

Maybe i explained wrong. I have 3 new CDs with no information from the cars gracenote. I want to get them from the HDD in the car to the compact flash so i can get Song information for those CD's on the HDD. But when i go through the directions from infiniti it wont let me do a search for the titles, therefore i cannot continue the steps? http://www.infiniti.com/music-update/ Its step 4 in these instructions i cannot get passed because the car will not let me select "Search missing titles". That option is dark. Anyone know why this happens? I called the hotline, but they didnt have any answer for me, they said go to the dealer. Trying to save myself a trip...
