Driver's Seat Creasing?

I got my 07 G about 2 months ago..

Today I noticed on the driver's seat on the left side it is creasing.. It looks pretty bad and the rest of the seats are fine it is just this one spot.. Any ideas?

Also, I have two rock chips in my car The worst one is under the driver's door where the body kit is so it's black underneath any ideas or suggestions?

Soo frustrating when trying to keep your G nice and new..

I have the same creasing problem in the leather on my '05 G coupe. I believe mine is from trying to get in-and-out of such a low car. The Meguiar's leather treatment I was using didn't do much, but since I've been using Zaino Z-9 and Z-10, the seats look much better.

okay I just ordered some..

So it's not a defect of the leather? It looks pretty bad... My last car that was 7 years old with leather did not even have this problem..

I also have creasing -- on the left bolster and under the right butt cheek. I'm going to try Zaino when I have more free time...

I think part of the problem is how I am sitting in the car. I made some adjustments to the seat so that I don't dig into the seat as much when I use my right foot to drive.

I noticed the creasing in 2 brand new cars at the dealership, before buying mine, which of course had it also. My G was taken directly off the storage lot with all the protective wrap so it was never really test driven, yet it had the faint creases when I picked it up later that night.

Hmmm, good question. Possibly caused by the sport side bolsters being higher up and in the way of getting in and out?

It sucks. I noticed the creasing on the 2nd day!! For a while I tried "hopping" in and out of the seat but that got tiresome. Just have to live with it I guess. I also started keeping my wallet in my front pocket to avoid uneven pressure on the seat.

No creasing here so far. I put Zaino's Leather in a Bottle on my seats as soon as I got it and once more since then. I usually condition my seats once a month.

I did the same thing, but couldn't avoid the creasing.

I see some stretch marks

Sure thing, I'll take a pic tomorrow.

I wonder if creasing has anything to do with a person's weight? It would make sense that the heavier you are, the greater the chance of creasing......would that make sense?

Haha, sorry I updated my post with a pic I found on your site. I guess you got to it before I had to chance to change it.

As for weight, I don't think it matters. When you try to get out of your car, your thighs will swing over the bolster and when you try to get up. for a momen all your weight is on the bolster. i think it's pretty unavoidable, but can probably be minimized w/ continous conditioning. I plan to do it every week for a while

Zaino is a line of car-care products; their waxes and polishes are really, really good.
