Hey congrats! Nice car!

In the picture I see the iPod is connected through the bottom connector. Are the audio/video composite cables not hooked up to the iPod in the picture, or is connected through the bottom connector with the power charger?

Also, just wondering but do you notice any interference or whine when you have the charger plugged in and playing the iPod at the same time?

Oops, I reread your post a little more carefully and found you had already answered my first question. In the picture its just hooked up for audio through the charger.

Yeah to reconfirm that for you. The Belkin Auto Kit only supports Audio which is fine by me. When driving you can only use audio from the AUX anyway, so this lets me charge and play through just the dock wire and it looks "clean". If I'm at a stop I wouldn't mind taking the 2 seconds to connect through the headphone port rather then through the dock.

Also yes actually I am experiencing a hum/hiss when using the charger. It is unexplained. I hope you asked because you know why something like that would happen?

I used the same exact Belkin Auto Kit in my Audi and never experienced a humming/hissing from it, but yet it's been happening when I use it in the G.

Thanks! Yeah I think 3 other people on AudiWorld got G35 Sports the same week I did IIRC 2 of them are also black. Of course I remember you as CVT_A4!

Funny... I just traded my 2003 A62.7tQ for a G35 Sport... Audi's are getting too damn expensive... Infiniti is a much better value.

Audi's are overpriced, offering less features standard, and getting uglier. Frankly I don't like their new designs much.

I was between the Acura TL, Audi A3 2.0T, Audi A4 2.0T, Lexus IS250, and the G35S.

After I test drove the G I knew I didn't want the others.

It's sad that for $40k you have a 200 hp big heavy Audi. Besides that the new body A4 was my exact car with an "uglier" exterior and for more money.

I'm not saying I won't ever drive an Audi again, but for the money there is nothing better then the G35 right now on the road!

agreed.. I was considerign the 335i coupe, lexus is350, and g35.... the g35 beat out the other 3 with its performance in my opinion.

The technology is awesome for a tech guy like me... and not to mention the SPEEEED!

Had it 3 days now...
