Music Box Questions

I just got my car and I am intrugued by all of the entertainment options. At the same time, I realized a few things about it:

- You can only transfer files from the in-dash CD player and not the flash card
- You cannot transfer MP3 files from the in-dash CD player

My questions are as follows:

- Do you have to listen to the CD while it rips to the hard drive?
- Can you rip the CD at a higher speed than normal listening?

You do have to listento the cd while it rips and you can't change songs until it's done. It does rip faster than it plays - takes about 10-ish minutes to rip a typical cd.

You also cannot change tracks while your recording, which is kind of a drag

Try it - it rips at about 5:1
And they sound great once they're uploaded.
I got a 1G CF card... no need to transfer or burn them to a disk.

How many do you have in there, and/or do you plan on uploading?
