FINALLY saw a 2007 G.

Here in Ohio with one dealership in a million-mile radius from Akron (OK...I exaggerated a little ) I had yet to see a 2007 G on the road.

But to my surprise and delight a PG (my color when I take delivery) sport passed through the intersection in front of me. Had a "possible" IP sighting last week but this is confirmed.

Really looked sweet on the move. Much nicer than what I remember at the Auto Show OR when I test drove one.

As has been mentioned numerous times, pictures don't do the car justice and Auto Show lights don't do a very good job of color representation, either.

Is it mid-April yet? (My delivery date)

These cars really do look better in person.
This is an Infiniti affliction - I had an FX45 that just looked so much more 'balanced' in person. All the models look much better than the photos.

The wait IS worth it... just try not to speed when trying to catch up to one!

Wholeheartedly agree! I remember going to the unveiling of the '07 G and some woman next to me goes, "I think it looked better in the photos". Okay, that's fine, I understand looks are subjective, but I thought the liquid platinum sport under the showroom lights was an absolute stunner!

G35S, I remember you saying that you thought you had seen one. I guess this proves you were right! Was it a sport or non-sport? I'm going up to the dealer tomorrow to take my FX in for service. I'm hoping I get an '07 loaner. We'll see.

I wouldn't do that if I were you Alex, you'll have to trade in your FX sooner than planned.

I've learned restraint. I think.

When I dropped off my '07 for the 3750 mile maintenance, I saw a couple who came in to drop off their '07 IP courtesy car. I then thought maybe I'll get to drive it. Of course, since I'm a new owner of my '07, they gave me a silver '06 (only 3k miles on it, with nav and intelligent key). They should've loaned me an M, in case I wanted to upgrade!

It was obvious it had 18s on so it was either a sport (my first thought) or someone slapped the wheel upgrade on it. Couldn't get a close enough look at the rear to see the badging. It was gone.

If you request a loaner with the idea you may buy those guys will salivate and you will get one for sure. The problem may be if they have one available or not

I agree with you on the LP. It looked sharp.

Just glad to SEE one

Although it will be nice having a unique vehicle...at least to the Akron area.

Unlike the 500 Ford Fusions I see buzzing around. Must be rentals or that is the company car of choice nowadays...

Haven't seen any 07s in two months which is surprising given that I commute on mostly major roads during the week in an area that is overcrowded with cars.

Fine with me!

Since the car came out last November I've only seen about 1 or 2 on the road. In the past two weeks, I came across at least 10-15 new G sedans. Today on the freeway, on my way to work, four G's (including mine) were in the left two lanes, side by side for 4 miles. It was pretty sweet. Man, those PG G's are great looking, especially with some dark tint. No regrets though on my BO.

Any of you NE Ohio guys (Cleveland / Akron) -- can you recommend a good performance shop? I want to drop my G, but I'm not sure where to go. I've got a good place lined up for tint, just not sure about the drop.
