Now leave that 'other' forum and only come here!
I was a LONG time member over there - and g35driver.com is sooo much better.
Congrats on the ride.

NAV so I can move it from car to car. The savings between the factor nav and the NUVI will pay for my clear bra and tinting.
Great looking ride! I have a STi now and im looking to make the same move myself. How are your impressions of the car?

The Garmin nuvi is a great line. I have the nuvi 350 which I bought a while back before I got my G35. One thing I like about it is that you have access to all its features (such as finding any points of interest), while the Nav built into the G35 disables certain features while the car is moving (for example, if there is more than one page worth of points of interest [nearby places], you can only see the first page while driving). However, I do like the convenience of the Nav being built into the G35. No need to set up the Garmin manually when getting in the car, and no need to put it away when parking away from home (to hide it for security reasons). But, I still love my Garmin nuvi. It's still used heavily in my wife's car, and also when traveling in rental cars (when you likely need it the most).

I am impress with the tight ride and the taunt steering. I was coming from an F250 with a diesel, so that ride was kinda soft. Before that I was in the STI where everything was rough. It was a fun car to drive in short bursts, but long huals were brutal. I have not been able to really get on the G, I only have 214 miles so far. The only small adjustment for me in the G, is the gas pedal seems different than any car I have driven, and I have driven just about everything.

I feel the looks of the car are intoxicating. Everytime I look at it it grows on me even more. I am a picky person and like my cars appearance to look a certain way. I love the frontend, backend and from the side. The interior is awesome and the pearl white look awesome, as long as you keep it clean.

Thanks on both. I bough 3 Acers about 3 years ago and build the house. Still working on the landscaping, but I will be working on that for a while.

I also wanted to get the NAV, but didn't want to wait and was getting a good deal on this car. I do travel a lot with my daughter who is on a comp. soccer team, but know most of all the soccer fields in all of CA. She just signed her National Letter of Intent in soccer to BYU Hawaii. Proud father. Anyways, the NUVI will be a good second choice for me.
