Had my tint put on yesterday...
got pulled over for it today. 
Luckily I didn't get a ticket. 
He said he pulled me over for not looking to my left while changing lanes. So, if you see a cop behind you and your tint is illegal, don't just use your mirrors.
Another thing. He asked me what I did for a living. Has anyone else ever been asked that question? I have been pulled over a lot and this was the first time that I have ever been asked that. I thought it was strange. Maybe it was because the G35 is such a pimp ride.

I only 50 on the fronts so that the cops can see me through the tint. Much less likely to get pulled over. Even with 50% tint, there is still 99% UV protection and something like 45% heat reduction.

Guess he was expecting you to say that you're a professional hitman, mafia boss or drug dealer.
Why the hell should your occupation even come up? That was definately not his concern.

i didn't have any mods at all and today there's an old lady driving a white mustang in a parking lot and told me i'm driving the prettiest car she've ever seen...

That's stupid. If you've been monitoring your mirrors, and you know it was safe to change lanes, there's no point in turning your head. He just wanted to pull you over so he can have more time to check out your sexy G.

He was giving you an uninformed sobriety test to see if you were drinking. That is why he asked what you did for a living. J/K. I was asked that once while I was in my FX. I was blocked off by the narcotics division for driving in the wrong neighborhood. Thats when they asked me what I did for a living. Initially I thought that I was going to be a victim of a car jacking. I was less nervous after I saw the badges hanging from there necks with their guns drawn.

Actually the tint doesn't do anything for UV on the G35, the Glass is already UV protected, so over 99% is blocked on the OEM glass.
