Rubbing Noise

For the past few week, I've been hearing this noise coming from the head liner. It sounds like it is coming from the area just behind the sunroof. It's not a rattle. Rather, it sounds as if something is brushing or rubbing against the fabric up there. I've messed around w/ the sunroof shade, but that doesn't seem to be the problem. Anyone else experience this? Any suggestions?

It could be the rubber boot/seal that many of the '07 owners have been having issues with. Lift/open your sunroof and see if there's a rubber accordion thing thats loose.

if that doesnt do it set yourself a mousetrap with some cheese, might have a rodent living in your headliner!

Yeah, I have no idea other that the rubber piece associated with the sunroof which is pretty easy to snap back into place. Goodluck!

I think I hear that same sound. It's almost like a scratchy sound - very soft - I can only hear it when no music is playing. I just figured it was the fabric on the roof. I'll check out the sunroof.

Yes, that's the sound. I don't think it is the sunroof. It sounds like it is coming from the roof just behind it. Its driving me crazy

Sounds like it might be a lose wiring harness?
Any noise when you tap on the headliner with a knuckle when the car is off?
