I've only seen one other 07' on the road since I bought mine in January! Plenty of first generation G's though.

I've only seen 5-10 07' G35 Sedans by me. Most of them are G35x's owned by senior citizens

I haven't tried to race anyone in an '07 (what's the point?), but am usually the guy you see zipping past. Driving this thing is fun!

I see a co-worker now owns an IP and parks in my garage, haven't met him/her yet. I've said hi to a couple of new owners in parking lots or side streets.

In Houston, since they came out, I'd guess that I've seen...12?

I only see one lurkin around town. My wife actually talked to him once. An older local realtor. Lots of first Gen g's but they never want to play.

What I've noticed is that coupe drivers always want to prove to me that 2 doors makes their car untouchable. It seems that no coupe is willing to follow a sedan even if they have to make a dangerous lane change to pass me.

I had a 05 or 06 G35X try to either race me or get near me just yesterday and another similar age sedan a few weeks ago. We both had young kids in the car. Obviously those to things do not go together, be he did not seem to mind. I assume it done just to take a closer look. I've noticed all G drives tend to look at other G's. The longer I drive mine the more I noticed. I see at least 6 to 8 per day on the roads. They all look. It's pretty stupid to race another car just like your. It's just going to prove they are both just as fast as the other.

Now im not talking about races i had with them, im just referring to always seeing a 07' dip around on the highway, or if im in a lane i always see one coming from behind and just zoom past me! What im trying to get is that everyone that owns this car can not help the fact that they want to go fast. This morning im on the highway and a i see one coming on from the ramp. I kept my eye on him in the rearview and just saw him take off from the on ramp and catch up to me, after he caught up he was just trying to get next to me. I was like dam he got on pretty quick. So then i changed lanes and let me him go........to much traffic............ if not there could have been a quick sprint
You think they want to "race", or just catch up to you to say "Hi" or "Congrats", or maybe look for a G35Driver.com sticker???

Might have been me, if you're in Phoenix.

I sometimes try to catch up to another G just to say HI. I've also had people do the same. But, I'm not interested in dieing ... er racing.

Also, one of my coworkers bought a fully loaded Journey after riding in mine once! But that's another thread.

I live in LA so I've seen my share of '07 Gs. I've probably seen around 15-20 but only 1 or 2 of them were the sport model and driven by older folks who don't realy care about modding their cars and racing.

My wife and I pilot our X and we are Grandparents, I don't see people rolling their eyes at us just giving us a smile and a nod as we pass them .

Which side of town do you usually drive around on?
