Question about Sirius

I am looking to buy a G35x this summer. I currently have a lifetime subscription to Sirius, so I want to keep it in the new car. I test drove a model with the Nav system, and when I went to use the satellite radio, only the channel name showed up on the screen. I don't really want to buy the nav system, and I like the way sat radio displays the artist and song, or even sports scores. Can anyone tell me what the display looks like for Sirius, both with or without the nav system? Basically, if it doesn't display all the cool info, I'll do the fix I saw on a different thread to put a radio in the armrest. Thanks.

I have XM on my 03 coupe and all it does is show the channel name and not the song I do have nav too so that kinda sucks.

How much is a lifetime subscription?!

If you like the integrated nav, you can't get sirius. You'll have to go with an aftermarket sirius.

The lifetime subscription to Sirius is something like $475. I waited two years to get it, paying $140 or so per year, so it made sense for me to do it (I wish I had done it earlier). But Sirius only offers the deal for a few months each year, not all the time. Anyone else with an '07 that can tell me if song/artist info is displayed?

I have a 2007 G35 with Sirius. The song title and artist are displayed.

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the salesman just didn't know how to do it or if the radio wouldn't allow it.

Artist and song name display only when you have selected either 1) split screen or 2) text.
