There are times when you want to use your Bluetooth headset for privacy and don't want to use the G35. I have found this a huge pain with Garmin Nuvi 360 with Bluetooth as I would have to power it off before I activated my headset. I would imagine I will have to do something similar in the G35. I wish there was a way my Blackberry 8700c can priotize like the G35 can. How do you turn off Bluetooth on the G35 easily while driving and switch to the headset, or does anyone not even bother?

 

bluetooth isn't really setup that way. i don't have a bluetooth capable car, but i think what you can do is switch from the car to the handset for privacy, and then back when you're all clear.

 

Well it depends on the devices. For example, the G35x allows you to priotorize devices I believe. For example, if my phone is paired with the G35, and my wife's and we both enter the car, the higher # priority will pair. The issue is actually with my phone because it is paired to the G35, and I would love it to disconnect automatically and pair with the headset when I open it. My phone doesn't offer bluetooth prioritizing. I am not sure of many phones that do this, but I am curious what others are doing.
