Where is the microphone?

Starting to play with the bluetooth - very good results so far with two differeent phones...but I feel I should be talking toward the mike ! Is it in the visor area?...dash??..steering wheel??. First time we used it, my wife stating talking into the display and it cracked me up.

I assume the voice recognition is also based on the same mike...

Overhead console area (by map lights), you'll see what looks like vents, those are the mics

probably best to stay facing forward - I wouldn't worry about trying to face the mic.

just talk normally in your car as if you're speaking to another passenger, it picks up just fine

Overhead console area explains why when there are two of us in the car, talking to a caller, the caller hears us both fine.
