Coolant Level?

Is the the reservoir supposed to be full?

When I checked mine, there was only about a finger or two in the bottom.

I didn't notice anything in the owners manual re this.

thanks in advance for assistance/advice

there should be a marking that says max and min.. as long as it is within that range you should be okay.

+1.... It's an expansion tank and shouldn't be very full at all.
One mine there is a low mark down low on the side of the bottle, and not too far above it is the full mark.
Be careful not to overfill.

Funny you should mention this, I topped mine up this morning.
As Colin said, on my overflow tank I could not see a level so I added about 1 1/2 cups of AF to put it between the Min and Max level when the engine was cold. I at least like to see a level that I can monitor.

My coolant has not gone down, it was at the same level as it was when I bought it in Dec. Today I just added enough coolant so it was more easily visible in the resevoir making it easier to monitor.
No oil usage here.
Just lovin the car
