Insurance costs?

Just received my insurance update, and am curious to see how others are doing on their new G. My premium is $458 every six months, and includes:
  • PIP $25k: $21
  • Liability $100k / $300k / $100k: $126
  • Uninsured motorist $100k / $300k / $100k: $42
  • Collision / Comp ($500 deductible): $257
  • Rental $25/day: $12

No drivers under 25, no tickets on my record (hello, V1 and traffic school...), and we live in Houston.

This doesn't seem unreasonable, but curious on what you guys are getting? These guys also have our homeowners insurance, so some discounts are included.

Insured by the Gecko:

25 Year Old, prior accident (my fault), living in New York:

-Bodily Injury Liability ($100k/$300k): $234
-Property Damage Liability ($50k): $72
-Residual Medical Payments ($5k): $ .30
-Basic Personal Injury Propetction (opt-b/50,000/2.000wl): $152
-Uninsured Motorist ($100k/$300k): $39
-Comprehensive ($1k Ded/Full Glass): $235
-Collision ($1k Ded): $344

Total: $1078 for 6 months.

It's not that bad, considering my '93 Altima cost me $2100 per year for liability alone, back when I was 20.

of course this is going to vary quite a bit depending on where you live.

I have 250/500/250
20K PIP
250/500 under and uninsured
comprehensive 500 deductible
and the usual other crap
for just around 386/6 months in St Paul, MN.

no tickets, no accident, married, 33.

Oh yeah, and that's $4/6month cheaper than 100/300/100 on my '02 Lexus IS300.

shuref00t, damn man that is some crazy high insurance, I don't miss those NY insurance rates one bit! I pay about $1100/year for the G and my wifes' 07 Passat Variant.

I'm in the same boat, to the t. So we know we aren't getting ripped off, at least. Only difference is I'm 24, in NJ, one accident not my fault, but 2 tix from when I was 17/18.

Okay, that's it, I'm moving to North Carolina. I pay about $750 for full coverage by Geico, 6 months. I'm 26, no accidents or tickets (at least not in the last 3 years). My Mazda6 cost more ($850!) with 21st Century, so I switched. I was surprised that the G did not cost much more, maybe because of its safety, despite its sportiness and luxury quality.
