Glove Box Light

I just installed brite-white LEDs in the interior of new '07 G. BTW looks great I bought a lot of 10 194's off ebay, just enough to do all the interior lighting. 2-map lights front, 2-rear reading, 2-door lights, 2-license, 1-trunk, and 1-glove box. But I noticed before I installed the glove box light the it wasn't working. My neigbor just got an '07 G last week and his glove box light isn't working either. Is anyone else having this problem?

Correction, just found out, you have to have the head lights turned ON in order for the glove box light to work. Very strange....

I don't see an easy way to change the glove box light, looks like you have to take the dash apart. Does anyone know how to get to the glove box light to change it?

The light housing snaps out but I don't think you can change the bulb without taking the whole housing apart.

Thanks for the info, I thought I read somewhere that it was a 194 type bulb, guess that was bad info. Good thing I asked first, thanks, you saved me a lot of work. I still don't understand why the lights have to be turned on for the glove box lamp to work.
