I would suggest 20% or lower....just my opinion!!! Here's a couple pics of mine with 20.

20% looks great on your car...I was wondering how that would look. Thanks!

20% here too... They are starting to crack down a bit here in Savannah so I figured I wouldn't press my luck but its still dark enough for me with the black interior. If you want I'll put some pictures up but the ones above are a good representation. All the pictures I currently have up are all photoshopped.

FYI, I went with lumar and don't have any issues with loss of GPS/XM signal...

How long does tinting take? Is this something I can go and sit in the waiting area while it's done or is this something I need to drop off and pick up at the end of the day.

ive always been a 20% guy on all my cars...but i was almost going to do the fishbowl style on this car after driving it for a week without the tints. I ended up doing a nice light 35%. I have a black on black S as well so unless i have the roof open you really cant see in the car anyway.

The car has a sick interior so i like it to be appreciated by being able to somewhat see in.

Thanks you to everyone for the replies

logik05se can you post some pictures. I am thinking about 35% specially since it is legal in CT. In addition, an you try to post a pic with someone in the car so I could see how the tint looks

turboale/El Diablo would either of you mind posting a pic with someone in the car

I would understand it anyone doesn't want to post pics wiht someone in the car.

Thanks

GforaG,
Here's a link to a thread I started earlier, I just had 35% installed so you can get an idea how it looks.

I'll see if I can get some later for ya... I like it that nobody can see directly in, if I want people to see me I just open the sunroof. I'll try to get pics of both. Seeing as we have been getting 80+ degree days for two months now I'm not looking forward to how hot its going to get this summer. I had 15% on my R32 and I loved it but they are starting to crack down on tint here so I went with 20% this time. I could really care less if people think my car looks "ghetto". Its a brand new car, what is ghetto about that?? I'm still finding myself wishing I had gotten 15%. Once you have dark tint, especially if you live where it gets really hot, you will never look back. Plus, its much better for your interior.

Thanks! Your car looks awesome. Almost made me depressed I did not go with the liquid platinum. What did you use on the car, zaino was it? I am not familiar with the product. This is the first car I will have owned that would require anything that nice to take care of it. As for the tints, it is annoying how different the same % looks on different cars in different lighting.
