Has anyone who has put on aftermarket wheels weighed the stock ones?

I'm curious as to what they weigh.
Please mention if they are the 17's or 18's.

I'll weigh the stock sport wheels after dinner.

 

The stock 18" sport wheels were surprising. The fronts were 22lbs on the dot. Then I weighed the rears, and they too were 22 pounds. I find that odd considering the rears are 1" wider.

Now - those wheels aren't exact. I don't have a very accurate scale. I used my bathroom scale, weighed myself, then weighed myself with the wheels.

One interesting thing is the OEM 18's have Enkei stamped inside the spokes.

I found the same think weighing my aftermarket wheels - volk gts - both the 8.5 and 9.5 weigh 27 lbs. I need to find some light tires.

The thing that irks me about this is that I actually GAINED almost 2lbs per wheel going to the SSR's. Ah, what we do for looks.

 

yea the wheels im getting this week are def going to be quite a bit heavier but they look great and the price is right.

thats pretty cool that our wheels are enkei.
