I haven't been able to use XM today, so I can't speak for any signal problems they have. However, as a note to some people only receiving certain channels for a while (not just today), when the radio is first activated, it doesn't seem to be an all or none thing. It takes a few minutes for complete activation, and if you tune the radio in the middle of it, you'll notice you only get certain stations. So....my guess (for those that only get certain stations) is that someone started the activation process, and then shut off the radio before it finsihed. Call XM and have them start the trial or resend the activation signal.

I too have had problems. Go to xmradio.com...today they were updating their system, which probably had something to do with the issues. Until today, this had been flawless. I am resetting my radio (to do this, you have to go to the xmradio.com site and log in) which will reprogram the xm reciever in the car. I suspect this will pass.

Found this ... XM Radio down
An XM Spokesman has provided this statement regarding the issue:
"We are experiencing a temporary degraded performance issue, which has affected some of our customers. We expect to return to normal service levels this evening."
