Good stuff...I feel so guilty it looks like everybody aged 21 and above is doing this all by themselves. Maybe next time I could do better...

Ok being that my mortgage, insurance, bills, etc. all add up to $2000 per month and my car payment is $600 a month. $2600 a month gets a hell of a car (you can lease a GT3 for $2k per month). If I rewind to six years ago and had the income I did now, I probably would've done something stupid like that since I didn't have much foresight.

You're right it is the web, and I wouldn't do it now, but I know people I used to go to high school with that are doing similar things.

29 here. Forcefully moved on from a RSX type S. I don't think I would want this car in high school. My friends would have been upset for having to take their shoes off every time they got in.

I love reading these posts about 20-25 year olds saying, "But I pay for it myself, and insurance too"

I used to be in that boat, and had nice cars which was my only expense.
Who says its our only expense?

Ditto for me, Swivel, except I'm 48.

With the attitude of a guy 19...

Doesn't even come close to the caliber of the G, but I loved it all the same.
My first car back in '88... heavy oil burning '84 Mitsubishi Cordia Turbo. Maybe 200 miles to a quart of oil. Let that thing idle at a stop sign and it left a cloud of smoke that would stop traffic. My one and only manual vehicle. It had this weird 5 Speed with an electro/vacuum assisted 5th gear. It kept blowing fuses on this system so 5th gear would be the same as 4th gear when you shifted and the fuse had blown.

EDIT: This was a strangely styled vehicle that even had fender skirts on the back.
