Leather already cracking?

Seems weird, but the leather on the front seats are starting to crack. I'll try to take pictures with my cam. if I could find it. Better go to the dealer and get it checked out, especially when I got the interior guard and which it warranty's for this stuff. Has anyone else's leather start to crack already? The area is at the edge facing the door.

Crack? Cracking suggests the surface

has opened up. Do you mean there are folds/lines showing in it? That's normal. Mine has lines in the same section too. Leather does that, just make sure you keep it well conditioned, so it doesn't dry out and REALLY crack.

I'd bet anything that you are talking about creasing (which is completely normal) as opposed to actual cracking. I have no cracking but I do have creasing.

It is always best to apply less conditioner than too much.

Oh ok thank you. The reason why I asked this is because it just seems to really stand out - plus I'm just being paranoid as this being my first car. Thanks again!
