I tried this at lunch and whenever I press the phone button it hangs up. Do you mean to press the voice command button instead?

Thanks though, I'll use that if worse comes to worst.
If you plan on letting them listen to your voice mails, why not just give them your password?

Your cell phone should be capable of entering pauses followed by the password. It should just go through.

Yes but the phonebook is in the car, and the G35's phonebook doesn't appear to allow for pauses.

It's one thing to listen to your vmail on speaker, another to give away your pin number. Also, I can always switch it to the handset and/or hang up the phone if the vmail is too private.

Finally, there's a convenience to not having to press any additional buttons, say anything, etc.

OIC. OK, then how about this idea ... use VOICE DIAL to dial Verizon voice mail system. When your Verizon VM system starts asking for passwords and prompts, switch to keyboard mode and input them manually via LCD touch screen. Hopefully your passengers are not watching you input the PIN on the big LCD!

Maybe Infiniti will update their phone software to allow pauses in the future.

Maybe I just won't check VM with people in the car. However, can someoen please explain how I can say outloud my pin? When I hit the phone button like previously mentioned, it hangs up the call.
