Thinking of Returning to Infiniti

Hey folks...

I used to have an '03 G sedan, lease finished last year and pulled the trigger on the E90 330i.

I've had the 330i for about a year now and its gave me tons of problems and I am probably going to lemon it.

I'd love to get into the 335i but the lease payments are extremely high.

How much are you guys paying for your G sedans a month?

PS...for the guys who switched from the old body G to the new body G..how do you like it?

I love what they've done with the interior, and I really miss the torque of the VQ which is the main reason why I am considering coming back.

Good to see you here again Mike. Sorry to hear about the troubles with your 330i, that's a shame.

I won't bother posting my payment info since Canadian pricing wouldn't be much good to you. IMO, I think my 07 G is much more aggressive looking that my old 03 G. I love the design of the new headlight assembly, the bulbous hood, and the style of the grille (although it pitts too easily). The performance and handling of my 07 is much better than my 03 was. And then there is the interior and technology of the 07......in which it's light years ahead of what my 03 was.

cant quite say i agree with you there...lexus style to me is soft...the G looks aggresive.

And to the OP...the car is phenominal, i too was considering a 335i sedan, the funny thing is the lease payments were actually quite close. The difference so litterally so marginal that price was NOT an issue in my case. Buying is a whole diff story. The 335i coupes leases however are crazy and thats the one I really like. I chose the G becasue of the looks, technology, and the interior is WAY nicer to me then the bimmer. Not to knock the BMW but the interior is very plain to me. The 335i might be a lil quicker, but overall I love my car to death. And shes so damn sexy.

Yes, the G is a much sexier animal both outside and in than the 335i. My wife was all over the G35S 6MT when we test drove one over Memorial Day weekend.

We never looked back. We love our new 6MT. We should be just past the 1200 mile break in stage when we hit the Taconic Parkway--a legendary long and twisty near the Hudson Valley in NY-- on Thursday and head north for our summer vacay. A kind of heaven.

I went from a 04 sedan to an 07 sedan last week - love it.

Very upgraded, interior, exterior, engine, sound, nav, etc etc

Its a major revision on the 07, not a minor one.

If you liked your 03, you will love the 07.

I have an 03 and my mom's got an 07X. I gotta say that I wish she'd got the 6MT, because I'd rather drive my 03 over hers anyday. BUT, I could see an 07 6MT being a helluva fun car! that said, the X is flippin' fast off the line!

The M was designed before the CLS and had those lights first. Maybe benz bit off of Infiniti...

IMO, our G would have been nicer if we had the fog lights on the front bumper. Any aftermarket lights out already?

jeez, who cares?

ALL styling and fashion is derivative. that's how it evolves.

if you like the look, buy it and be happy.

Exactly. It drives me crazy when a new car comes out and people start nitpicking it apart saying the rear looks like car x and the front door looks like car y and the airdam looks like car z.

The only way to be truly original is to go crazy - like using 6 wheels or go ugly like Pontiac did with the Aztek.

Couldn't agree more. Not every car design will be groundbreaking and totally unprecendented.

I say cut Infiniti some slack; after all they did score a major styling hit with the FX.
