Do the windows open by themselves?

A few weeks ago I went on a business trip. My wife called me that night and said that the windows in my brand new 2007 G35 were wide open. I assumed I must have hit the wrong button and racked it up to a "senior moment".

This afternoon when I went out to my car -- the windows were wide open! I am 100% positive they were closed when I exited the vehicle.

OK, I figured it is *possible* that the keys in my pocket pushed the "Unlock" button on the key fob, which opens the windows and the sunroof. However, the sunroof was NOT open....just the windows. Besides, you have to hold that button down for a few seconds to open up the car...not likely the result of jostling keys.

Once, my bad...but twice??? Anyone else have this "problem"?

Hmmm... possessed car! I think you better get that issue fixed with Infiniti before it happens again. Maybe they could figure out what's going on.

If you hold your 'Unlock' button only the 4 windows roll down, not the sunroof.

Correct - assuming you have the premium package. For the OP, I've only had this happen once when I happened to be lying on my keys (in pocket), and they alarm went off. Considering how long you have to hold the button to roll the windows all the way down, am a bit concerned on your behalf. Any chance they're getting thrown in a drawer or something with weight on them?

To the poster with the base model, whose passenger window only rolls down? Something's wrong, driver and passenger should roll down.

I've attempted to use this feature a few times but the range is very short and you have the button for a long time before anything happens so I just give up. I find it a little strange that it would happen unknowingly.

Sorry to go off-topic, but the range is really short and so is there anyway to increase it?

I guess its possible for them to open automatically. Maybe something in the area has the same frequency which your car thinks is the command to roll the windows down?

theres a problem with your connections. My friend had this problem in his highlander which the dealer fixed. They should do so for the windows opeing on their own and not both/4 windows rolling down when you do prss the unlock button.

You have to use the actual key and the windows will roll up without turning on the car.

when i hold the unlock key it only opens the driver and passenger side.

one of you said it only rolls down passenger..that's weird. is there a way to change how many windows you can roll down. i've only seen mine roll down passenger and driver side
