yeah i went with no sunroof and not having the antenna is awesome, more streamline body. i really like the trunk release button being centered too.

Do you have any photos of the hitch? I am looking to do something that can't be seen.

When considering the trade-off between spending $000's on "bolt-ons" versus factory installed package upgrades, perhaps it may be worth considering the value of the vehicle when it comes time to buy the next level of G, in three year's time.

Dealers usually give no credit for "bolt-ons" whereas a vehicle with the factory options will definitely get higher trade-in value; although I rarely use the sunroof and the map has been useful a couple of times.

As always, each to his own.

who said you had to take the vehicle back with the bolt-ons still equipped? you can part out and get a better deal for it. sure it might be a pain in butt, but hey it'll be worth more than the navi system by then. the main point is that you'll get more "usefulness" from the other stuff you can buy.

$400 radar detector gets more usefulness and saves you money in the long run than a navi system alone.

If someone wants to go and remove their after-market exhaust and/or the body kit or sound system before trying to trade their vehicle...that's their call.

I can't agree that a fully equipped G35 with Premium or Nav kit is going to lose money more then a Base model with no upgrades... since the upgrades are integral to the vehicle and are always taken into account when calculating resale value.

My 2006 350Z was fully factory/dealer "Nismoed" and this did help a little with the trade-in price but I got back nowhere near what I had spent on those upgrades; even though they were Nismo and not just random after-market stuff.
