Pacific Northwest Pricing

This car is most definitely want I want to purchase. In the PNW though we have only 1 dealer in Oregon and 2 in the Seattle area. Going through Edmunds to look at the options and their "what others are paying", it appears that $1,000 less than MSRP appears to be the standard.

Has anyone had any success getting a better deal.

The alternative seems to be checking out the Sacramento/SF area and buying a one way plane ticket.

Thanks

That's the deal I got, but I could probably have done better. Others here have. If it's an 07 you're after they should be dealing more now.

You need to look to CA for deals... lots of competition there. I've yet to see anyone get an awesome deal from a WA state dealer. I bought mine out of CA. Kirkland would only drop $250.00 in December when I ordered my G. CA dealer gave it to me for $750 over invoice.

I purchased mine back in April. Went in a week before the end of the month to test drive. Received the "$500 off is the best we can do". I signed two days before month end at around $2,200 off the sticker price. Patience is necessary, and waiting until month end helps without any competition. I enjoyed working with all the people there while finalizing the purchase. I would also recommend 503 Motoring if you'd like to get the 3M and Tint package done, was $900 and both done on one day.

I got an '07 sedan at 800 under MSRP at Infiniti of Kirkland last month. They won't budge much on price since they're the only local option but they were great to work with. They offered extended warranty and other options but didn't push after I said no.
Search this site for posts on Beaverton Infiniti. Apparently they undercoat every car if you want it or not and tack on $1500 for the privilege.

I purchased from Beaverton Infiniti. I'm looking at my add-a-tag that was next to the manufacturer's window sticker and there isn't any mention of undercoat or a fee for such a thing. The only dealer add-ons were Wheel Locks and Splash Guards.

At least the folks in Oregon don't have to pay sales tax like folks in CA. I had to pay 8.25% about 3K in tax. It will save you alot more money if bought in SF area because G35's are going for 3K under MSRP.

Since I live in WA, I paid my sales tax when I registered vehicle at DMV. This rate was based on my home address which is almost 1% less that what they charge for vehicles purchased in Kirkland (9.6%). I figure this was probably another $500 in my favor. Vehicles sales tax rates in WA state are .2% above the base sales tax rate of an area.

If anyone decides to purchase out of CA and has any questions about the process let me know. There are a few documents you need to make sure you get originals from dealer including the Statement of Origin and the original odometer statement.

Beaverton Infiniti got rid of that stupid Northwest Package because A LOT of people were bitching about it. We used VPP when we got our 04x and my contact at Nissan gave them instructions NOT to put that crap on the car when it came off the trailer.
