Hi, I took my car in at 3750 miles and the dealer wrote on my windshield sticker my next change is at 7500. I also set the maintenance reminder to 7500 on the info/maintenance menu... However, at 7155 my maintenance oil and oil filter alert came up. Does my car know something I don't? Should I wait until 7500 or just bring the car in early? Should I check the oil level?

probably just a reminder, they usually come on early so as to remind you to make an appointment. Happens to my TL all the time, and i only have 1000 miles on my G so no lights yet for that...

 

No, mine comes on when you get to the right mileage (3,000 for me). But I'm confused about something - your interval should be set at 3,750, not 7,500 (it goes by elapsed mileage, not actual odometer). Which makes me wonder if a) it's not set correctly, or b) you set a different maintenance alarm (there are four).
