Creaking Noise when getting in and out of G35?

Has anyone else noticed a "creaking" noise when getting in and out of their G35 (I have the S) w/ the parking brake engaged coming from the rear driver side wheel-well?

I mentioned it to my service guy, and he knew exactly what I was talking about before I even brought it in, and said that its normal (when the parking brake is engaged, the brake pads rub slightly against the rotors - and getting up and sitting down causes them to move slightly - thus making the noise). I've never heard this noise in any other car, and wouldn't expect it in a $60K+ car (in Canada, G35S w/ Tech + Nav - that's what its costs ... I know ... I know .. its a lot!). Kinda takes away from the "glamour" of the car when you take people out and it "creaks" everytime you sit down. Am I alone on this one???

Dude get that checked. I had the same issue, turned out I had rocks jammed between the wheel hub & it did some damage.

Maybe I should look more into that. To me it just sounded like the pads moving back and forth in the calipers a little bit. I only notice it every once in a while, but it seems to only happen on level surfaces. Does anyone else hear this?

It is only the break-pads ... I know that for a fact, but why does it move and make that noise. No other car I've ever had has made a noise w/ the parking brake engaged.

Mine always creaks if I set the brake on a slope with nose down: service brake on (in gear or neutral), set parking brake, release service brake. It sounds strange but is probably nothing alarming.

I get the creak on my 2005 M3 and my 2007 Armada - and did get it on my old 2000 Explorer. From what I have heard is is normal (I thought I was just getting a little fat).

I'll have to check it on my g/f's G35x....but suffice it to say it is normal from my research as tons of people get it on tons of different cars.

I hear creaking in the frame of the car--sometimes when I'm doing a tight turn.

My car has finally creaked when I got in it yesterday afternoon. I didn't think much of it, maybe I'm just getting fat or something.

if it sounds like a squeek similar to an old bed lol then I have that and its fking annoying as a ****. If you goto the back of your car, and push it fowards to make it rock back and forth you will hear this. Its only in foward to back motions and not up and down.

Did the service guy say that there is a fix to this or is something that we have to live with? I really hope there is a fix.

It almost seems as if Nissan/Infiniti likes to call all the weird sh*t "Normal"

Excessive clutch chatter? Normal.
Squeaky seats? Normal.
Brakes squealing? Normal.

The f*cking car blew up.... "Oh yeah thats Normal too."
