I leased my 07 G35x for 39 months @ 15K miles/year and I was wondering which maintenances were required? Thus far I have completed all the premium maintenances but am considering stopping because infiniti charges an arm and a leg...
My question is, what exactly am I responsible for and if its not the same on all leases where can I find out what I am responsible for? And finally what proof do I need to provide with regard to the maintenances that I am responsible for?
Thus far all 4 of my services have been done @ an infiniti dealership other than the one I leased my car at, so i assume those computer records are good enough. Now that i want to see my local mechanic again, waht should I prepared to do and how should it be recorded? Thanks in advance.

The lease does not require you to have the maintenance done at an Infiniti dealership, only that you reasonably maintain the car. Just keep up with the oil change and maintenance schedules in the manual and you're fine. I've leased two cars previous to my G, and no one ever asked for records when I turned them in. An inspector just gave them a quick once over and that was it. Good idea to keep receipts of course.
