is it 32,000 with the financing or 32,000 without i believe a full package g35 is around 35,000 invoice with the 1,000 rebate then i believe it's 3k or .9% apr financing so it an ok deal

2008 G35xS BS/Graphite

Hey everybody,

Just wanted to share my excitement...just pulled the trigger on a new 2008 G35xS Blue Slate on Graphite with Sport, Premium, and Nav. Got it for $33,513 before TTL. Sticker was $41,280 and invoice was $37,663. I thought it was a pretty good deal!

Hey, Im planning on getting the same model with same packages. My question for you is
1. Was that a Demo car or not?
2. How many miles when you purchased it?
3. Did you Finance or paid cash?

The reason I ask because this one dealer didn't want to go under $38,000 for the same package. So I said Ill keep looking and I am planning on going to another dealer tomorrow.

Any one else have an Idea on what I should be paying for a $41,280 G35XS on a Financial deal?

Was $33,513 after the $1K incentive + $3K incentive ($4K total)?

Go to CarsDirect and configure the car appropriately to determine what Invoice is:
http://www.carsdirect.com/new_cars/m...ke=IN&modelid=

I believe October offers $1k incentive plus either .9% APR financing or an additional $3k incentive. Therefore, you should be paying no more than Invoice - $3800 (factoring in the $1k incentive and the $3k incentive) or Invoice - $800 with the 0.9% financing. In other words, no more than Invoice + $200 before any incentives have been factored in; you should be able to get under Invoice or Invoice though.

I went to edmunds.com and I am aware of incentives. But this one dealer acted like I did not do any research and said that it was impossible to go under 38,000 so I walked away. Hopefully tomorrow this other dealer is willing to make a great offer. I will let you guys know.

With the G and my S2000, I called the dealership and asked to speak with the new car sales manager and simply told him over the phone that I'd come in and buy today if they could do $xx,xxxx OTD. Throw out the price you want and mention which incentives that deal is factoring in. Again, I think a very realistic price to expect is Invoice +/- $200 before any incentives are factored in.

Good luck with the other dealer!

The car wasn't a demo - it has 23 miles on it. They tried to sell me a demo, but it had ~500 miles and it had the Tech pkg which I didn't want. I financed it through IFS.

The $33,513 was after the $4k in incentives ($1k customer + $3k dealer) and some haggling - invoice was $37,663. So it was invoice - $150 - $4k.

Good luck in your negotiations.

Joe

So you got it for Invoice - $4,150 and the 0.9% financing?

No I didn't... I should have clarified....I financed through IFS at 5.34% for 63 mos...I had been preapproved at 5.25%/60 through my credit union. I wanted a specific payment and was planning on hitting the prinicipal with some extra cash, so the extra 3 months wasn't an issue to me.

I bought my 2008 G35 Journey Sedan on Friday.
Blue Slate with Stone interior
Premium
Navigation
Sport
Trunk Mat
Colored Splash Guard
and Cargo Net
Lowjack

Sticker price $40,455
Price before rebates $36,858
Price after rebates $32,858
I used my credit union for financing 5.75%, the dealer tried to offer me 4.9% yesterday, but it wouldn't have been worth the hassle since my bank already gave me the money.

I gotta say I really LOVE the car, it's damn fast!

I'm looking at a G35x with Premium Package only. Trying to figure out what my going in price should be, and I'm thinking about asking for 32K, but still with the 3K or .9% financing option available. Too high? Too low? I've been thinking I probably won't get it, but that it should be close.

Any opinions?
