Skylight noise

I have an 07 G and the wind noise from the skylight is really annoying. Anything over about 30 mph and I have to close the damn thing. Is this normal ?

( last car was an Acura 3.2 TL and you could have the skylight wide open on the highway and it produced almost no noise even at higher speeds )

i'm assuming u're referring to the power moon roof?
seems like the engineering budget all went to the engine and interior. u'll also notice that the sunroof could have opened another inch or 2 more as well. I'm not a fan of wind deflectors, but I will definitely get it once there's a part for it. I like driving with my roof open.

Also, the rain gets pretty loud. Not sure if its the roof, but it sounds like its coming from the back windshield or trunk. Does anyone have the instructions on taking out the roof upholstery properly to put in some sound dampening stuff?

I think I've seen the reflector from a dealer accesorry catalog.

But where did this "skylight" term coming from? It's my first time hearing that term.
