G hits 5K miles....better than ever

Well, she hit 5000 miles today, and I am just as delighted with this car as the day I bought her. The pleasure has not worn off. I love the cockpit, the seats are comfortable, the SOW/NAV is awesome...

The tech told me that around 5000 miles the car would seem more powerful, and he was absolutely right. I guess it takes that long for valves to seat, etc. The car drives better now than day one. Perhaps I am used to the accelerator pedal, I never have unwanted surges that some drivers report. This is a powerful car and there are always reserves of power that surprise and delight.

I drive pretty consistently at 70+ mph on open freeway and the RPM sits around 3000 rpm. A little press on the pedal and she zooms to 80 effortlessly.

Gas mileage is still around 18 city, 22 hwy -- not great, and I am using Premium gas. I really don't care. She might be a thirsty beast but she's a joy.

No problems, no rattles. If you're still on the fence about a G, just buy it.

I'm @ 19700+ miles and it's been a real joy.
The only problem I had was the sunroof flap and I kinda have a rattle in the rear subwoofer area but only if a certain frequency of bass is playing but that's it. I'd fix the problem myself but I don't know where it's coming from.

Oh by the way, today is the 5 month anniversary with my G.

My car has been to the dealer for many issues, 7 times to be exact. It is there now as I type this message. You are lucky, but just wait and see. I hope your car stay that way.
