Steering column rattle

I've had my car for a week now and I notice a small rattle around the steering column when I go over the line dividers or high frequency bumps. It sounds like small loose change either from the steering column or the dash display.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing?

Same here. When I go on rough roads, sometimes it begins to rattle somewhere below the steering or the radio dash, but I'm not completely sure where exactly it is coming from.

I have the steering wheel click (after it sets itself to it's location) but no rattles.
The only interior noise I have is a weird rainstick sorta noise behind the center stack... and only occurs with a temp change in the car.
Sounds like little grains on sand pouring down.
Could be worse, I suppose.

I have had the car for 10k miles and just the other day heard the noise for the first time. I have the power adjusted sterring wheel. And I just moved it around a little it it stopped. Wierd fix.

If you have the power adjusted wheel. just left two inche and drop it down again.

I had a little clicking noise when going over bumps as well, brought it in about 2 months ago for it. They added some insulation around the steering column (not sure exactly where) and as I was driving it home it got MUCH MUCH worse and had turned into a new squeaking sound. So I bought it back a week later, they replaced the top piece of the steering wheel column as they were sure it was this. Drove it home...sound had gotten even worse somehow. Brought it back a third time and they spent a few hours taking everything apart and found that it was the plastic in front of the gauge cluster making the noise. Added some insulation...and its been great!

I think they fixed the original clicking noise by replacing the top piece of the steering column, but who knows!
