no problems with rainx. never heard of aquapel--search results seem to indicate that aquapel lasts longer than rainx.

Shane, I just went out and measured my wipers on my 07.
Driver's side actual measurement = 25 3/4 inches
Passenger " " " = 16 inches

For fun I just tried taking a new blade assembly apart to remove / insert a "Refill"

Good luck! Wow, I gave up.. the only way I see the actual blade coming out is by destroying it...

For the price difference between regular fractory inserts and the complete blade replacement..

Ill take the assemblies...

OK, I admit I'm really dumb about things like this. So thats $40 shipped for the assemblies but $26 installed at the dealer for just the pair of blades. Do you gain anything by replacing the assemblies every so often?

Well, at the moment... I have not gotten any refills in, they all show back order with no release date...

Has anyone actually HAD a set of "Refills" installed?

If so, look on the repair order and see exactly the part numbers that were billed out...

I just had this done at the dealer, I will look at the work order and post whatever is on there when I get home tonight.

They are listed as:
REFILL-WIPER BLADE A, 28895-JK61A 13.02
REFILL-WIPER BLADE D, 28895-CB08C 13.02

I got refills replaced at the dealer last week. IIRC, they were $9.99 each.

So what was the final decision on this? Did someone figure out how to insert the refills? Did you get any in stock, Jason?

I'm curious about the refills as well. My stock blades are still working great but I always like to keep some local stock of the disposables in my garage.

Are these refills just a 1-2 minute swap on the existing wiper arms?
