Not worth it. I went to a local Nissan dealer. Oil change was $30, rotation was $20, inspections were free.

Oil change and rotation (assuming you're not a Sport), plus checking other fluids is all that's required.

I'll probably be a bit more aggressive on my 15k, changing air filters, in-cabin filter, and possibly tranny fluid.

I thought tranny fluid was at 30k.

Pretty sure it is, but since I ONLY drive in the city (lots of lights and stop signs), in Houston heat, and have been known to get on it from time to time , doing it early may be a good thing.

Infiniti doesn't give any free maintenance, however your dealer may... Mine gives me lifetime free oil changes and some other great stuff.

Don't switch to synthetic for another service interval or two (i.e. 11,250 or 15,000 miles).

Very similar driving conditions down here in Puerto Rico

Do it if you want, you shouldn't have any problems. On my old WRX i changed to Motul 8600 at 500 miles, car ran great, no problems.

My sport had asymmetrical tires, which lets you rotate side to side.
