Here are some better pics. What I like about the wood is that it isn't that shiny wood you see on other cars.

In response to Timmay's question, I don't know how much the aftermarket wood might cost because I got it for free. When I made my deal for the Sport model, the salesman in New Jersey told me that wood was a factory option with the sport. When it turned out that wood was not an option on the Sport, I refused to pay extra for wood because I had a written offer with wood trim included. So the dealer agreed.

I do know that such aftermarket kits are available and I was given several different finish options: glossy or matte, dark or light. The light matte version I chose looks exactly like the photos above, down to the grain and color.

But the aftermarket application I have does not cover the ashtray and console around the stick. Otherwise it covers everything else, in fact also around the air vents on the dash, which are not wood trimmed in the photos.

In addition, I was given the option of leaving a sliver of the aluminum showing below the wood trim on the door interiors, so it will go with the aluminum still left on the ashtray and around the manual stick console.

I opted for that, and it looks way cool if you like the wood/graphite combo.

Wish I could post photos of the interior which I did take but can't seem to upload to this site. I'm techno challenged when to comes to computers. Perhaps that goes with being an old fashioned wood trim proponent.
