I think they should have made a seperate Button for this Feature! I really don't use it here, (Hawaii Does not Have Super cold Days or Nights like the Mainland!) hehe But If you have rear Window Tinted, you cannot use the Rear Defroster anyway! As it would Bubble up the tint! So Thats no good! But Wish Infiniti made 2 Buttons diffrent, 1- the MNirror Defrost have it's seperate Button. And 2.- Made the Stalk control "AUTO MODE" for the headlights, be the last on the stalk, and not the first one! So If you don't really use AUTO Mode, like me, it does not turn on the HIDS and Turn them off when usung the manual mode. Very small things, that I can live with, Just wish they thought out some switches a little better next time.

using a rear defroster does not make your tint bubble.... I've had 5 cars that were tinted, and none of them ever bubbled... One of the cars being a 94 maxima, and when i got rid of it, it still never had a single bubble. Right now my 01 TL (DD) is tinted and i use the defrost every morning...

WOW, really? Man I never knew you could still use it! LOL. Learned something new Today! I always thought that once you got tint with the Defroster lines, that it could not be used anymore, and i did not want to try it, and ruin my tint. LOL. Oh wellz thank's for the heads up man!

I think it makes perfect sense. My 05 325i has the same thing. Need to have the rear window defrost on for the mirrors to go on as well. Same on our 05 XC90.

That's why people should not go around making dumb statements before thinking about it or researching.

haha, sorry, i had to do it

Not all, but... really the iPhone is designed to be intuitive. I'm sure you've heard "intuitive" and "interface" in the same sentence before. Heck, just check out this iPhone usability test (in short, it says people can figure out the iPhone really quickly, and faster than other phones in the test).

It doesn't make it a smart interface design, just because it's explained in the manual. It does make it a smart interface design if I know what to do *without looking* in the manual.

Then again, I fully support proposition RTFM.

The Iphone was the 1st thing that I thought about, but you can get the gist of what I was trying to say.
