My only problem with the G is...
It doesn't lock itself once you drive.
|
i like that about it. My TL doesn't do it, neither did my maxima.... My brother's honda accord has a viper alarm that locks it as you drive, and i can't stand it b/c i always forget to unlock when i want to get out....

Ya my truck locks itself twice after I start it, Ive locked the keys in the car several times cause of this. I hate auto locking cars. Non locking cars FTW.

Auto lock/unlock module is what you're looking for. |

why would you need the doors locked once the car was moving anyway? are you afraid someone will ride up next to you on the highway and climb into your car?

Anyway, I've gotten used to just locking the door myself when I get in the car. It's 2nd nature to me, so I don't really mind that the car doesn't lock itself.... |

**10:00am edit** Well, I decided to search on doors opening during accidents, and it seems that they are common in some rollover accidents, and the occupants are ejected from the cars.... |

Yea, My 06 TL didn't, our 06 RL did, and now our 08 Civics do it as well. My Z doesn't though.
At least in the RL you can program it when you would like it to do it. When you start the car, or put it in D, or go 20 mph+ or disable it. Same for unlocking it. |

me either. And if it did, If this force of the collision was so strong that it made your door fly open, I doubt the little piece of metal that makes the door lock is going to help any. |
