I just picked up my 2008 G35X about 3 weeks ago. All i can say is AWESOME except for a few things. I was curious if anyone else noticed these things on their car........

The ride seems to be a little rougher that i thought it would be. I havent checked the air pressure in the front tires but I am thinking maybe i need to lower it a bit. I also feel like i feel alot of road vibration in the pedal as i am driving. Is this normal?

The interior noise is a little noisier than the one i test drove and I have 2 annoying rattles which i need to ask them to fix when i can get around to it. One is in the passenger seat, it only happens when no one is sitting in the seat. The second is a creak from the glass that covers the tach, speedometer etc. If I hold my hand on the glass it stops. The seat one is a mystery to me. Sometimes it stops if i reach back to the bottom of the seat and hold it tight. sometimes that dosent stop it.

The third thing is this famous paint i have been hearing about. I washed it yesterday and i see the start of some pitting on the front bumper. I drive about 70 miles a day on ny/nj roads so i assume i need to take some preventative measures. I just bought a bra, i figured it was cheaper than the 3m clear bra (the guy around my way wanted 1,000).


Other than that i LOVE the car, navigation is awesome, power is right on, i love the way the exhaust sounds and all the other little gadgets.

Just curious if I am being to **** or if these things are normal... (other than the rattles of course).......
