It looks fine on my S Wayne, I like having the chrome because it takes all the "fingerprints" when you close the trunk, give something to push down on rather than on the painted finish, when the '07 came out, at first I thought it looked starnge, but it grew on me. But IMO, painting it, it will eventually look like all those Dodge Stealths that had the trim painted, then later it started to peel and revealed the chrome. (but, then, I'm a "dumbass", so what would I know. )

I've seen two painted chrome lips so far. The first was simply painted black and the other is an IP 6M/T that belongs to a customer of mine. She had the entire lip molded into the trunk. No more trunk button but it does look pretty clean. I'll be sure to take pics when she brings her car to the dealership next time.

Hey Lou, no black chrome vinyl available. If there was, it'd be difficult to install because the chrome vinyl isnt that forgiving.

I would really hope anyone with the rearview camera wouldn't even think of messing with this!

what about using a 70% tinted overlay, the reflective chrome should shine through, right?

I've seen a couple color coded, IMO some look great and some just make it look horrible. All a matter of preference.

I love my car as it is. Maybe I am the only one. I still think they did an awesome job at Infiniti/Nissan with the 07+ G.

I love even the wheels. I know i know What am I thinking.
