Ok. Here is the details:

08 G35 sedan journey RWD AT black on black leather. No other packages really than what it comes with the journey compared to base. Came out to just short of $35k out the door after tax and title. Paid the doc fee and the transport fee. 3.9% financing though. No down. $660 something a month. It was transported since they didnt have it in the lot. I'm picking it up tomorrow.

If like you said there is NO OTHER packages...than your 35K OTD price seems high... Invoice price for 08 Journey is around 29.5K..., but 3.9% is a killer!!!

BTW, congrats and welcome to the forum.

I honestly think that is a bit high. My 07 G35x cost $40k exactly (fully loaded, every option except splash guards). Granted my price doesn't include tax/title/license fees, I still think you paid a bit much.

I got a 2008 journey, premium package, navigation package, splash guards, and a dealer installed spoiler for $35,999. I also got the 3.9% financing. On top of this, I am a woman and negotiated this deal without my husband!!

But, the important thing is that if you are happy with the price you got, then it is a good deal. It's too late to be researching to see if you paid too much. Enjoy your new ride and the great financing!!

I think I got screwed paying a $399 document fee... but I learned my lesson, and it will never happen again. I also fell for the GAP insurance while at the dealership, but I had it removed the next day.

$35K is a lot. A good deal should be around $33.5 to $34K.

I got my 08' journey 5AT with prem and sport pkg for $37.5K OTD. I'm in California.

ok here it was. here is the detail with the pricing. More information so you guys can say if its a good deal or not. I think its pretty good.

08 Journey Black Obsidian
Graphite Leather/Washi Aluminum Interior
Automatic RWD
Performance Tire and Wheel package
Infiniti wheel locks
Splash guards
Trunk Cargo net
Floor mats
Gap Insurance
Auto Butler

It came out to $34,765.35 out the door after all the doc fees, transportation fees, tax, tag, and title. 3.9% financing for $614 and some change for 63 months.

Now that I think of it, it seems like the deal was good after all. Any inputs would be appreciated. Finally brought the car home tonight and its very impressive. Car is sexxayyyyy

not sure where you live but in an earlier post, my friend purchased an 08 G35 journey with the premium package for 35k out the door. (included tax and license). He bought his G at Redwood City and he got an identical offer from Infiniti Elk Grove. Given that you do not have the premium packgage but you have the $400 wheel and tire upgrade, you probably didn't get the best deal but hey, I paid 36k for my 07 journey with premium!! If you love the car, whats a $1000 bucks here or there. Enjoy!!

My opinion is, if you are happy with it, no matter what the deal, it's a good deal! I agree, if you love the car, just enjoy! You'll love the G!

GAP insurance through the dealership is a total rip-off. You can get the same insurance through your insurance company for less than half of the cost. When I went to cancel the GAP insurance the next day, he tried to say that he was just about to call me... that he had accidently overcharged me for the Gap insurance. It should have been $250 instead of $500. What a liar!! He only said that because I told him that my insurance company offers it for half the price.

08 Journey Platinum Graphite
Graphite Leather/ Aluminum Trim
Automatic Rwd
Premium Package
Tire and Wheel Package
Infiniti Wheel Locks
Splash Guards
Trunk Cargo Net
Floor Mats
Weather Proof Clear Mats($65 free)

Came out to $36,454 out the door after all the documentation fees, transportation fees, tax, tag, and title. 3.9% financing also. Purchased Dec 14, 2007. All that information was to give you a better idea of your deal. So I'm guessing you didn't get premium? Wasn't sure if I glossed over it. (*Edit*I see that you didn't get the premium. I think you might have paid on a scale of 1-10 10 being jipped, 5 avg, 1 best deal ever. I'd say you got a 6.5-7?. I think I got a 6? or close to a 5?

My price was 33,355 before tax and title fees etc.. The car I have on edmunds Invoice is $32,855, but TMW says $34,660. 500 above invoice for myself, but 1300 below TMW on January 12, 2008. Looks more like a 5 to me now that I think about it. I can live with that. I'd suggest trying exactly what I did on Edmunds.com and combining that with the prices people have been posting on here.
