Rattle from steering column/dash area
Recently, I started getting this annoying rattle from the steering column/dash area (I can't pinpoint the location, but I think it's coming from the steering column) while going over uneven pavement or sometimes even cruising on the freeway.
I'm pretty sure it's not the rattle from the dash issue addressed in one of the TSB's. I've tried to pinpoint the exact location by adjusting the steering column, tapping on different locations, pressing down different panels while driving, etc, but all to no avail.
Anyone experience the same problem? I guess it's an issue for the stealership to address.

I have a similar issue as of recently and I'm not sure what it is. I'd classify it more as a creaking sound than a rattle. I can't pinpoint the exact location either but it's somewhere in the dash perhaps where the stereo is and is losening up with some wear causing the creaking noise I hear.
Going to ask the dealer about this next time I'm in.

I have the same sound on what appear to be the dash or maybe the steering column. It is a rattle that occurs when the shakes a little due to grainy surfaces. The other day I discover accidentally that the problem wasn't really the dash, it was the sunglasses carrier in the car. I was driving and I hit a kind of hard bump, and the thing opened by itself due to the heavyness of the bump. Then it stop doing the sound and I tested it open in places I know it the rattles sounds and it is gone. I am going to take it to warranty so they change the part.
Open the glasses compartment and verify if the sound stops. Hope it'll help you too.
