Lol nah, I mean I don't usually smoke but if I'm with some friends who do I'll join in. That could be a good code name though lol.

 

Heyy so if i manually hold my cell phone charger in will it charge..and also i wanna make sure im looking at the correct fuse box can u attach a pix?

 

Idk about the fuse box. I was just commenting on the cigarette lighter functionality too, not the charging function.

 

I have this exact problem, the plug works fine with other accessaries though.

 

There are 2 fuses one labeled cigarette lighter and the other is power socket. It took me a few days to realize that and I had already taken the whole under dash apart.

 

I had been having this very same problem, but mine only got slightly warm to the touch even if I held it down. Actually, I'm not sure that the cigarette lighter holds itself down at all, but I found out that my problem was there was lots of gray-ish oxidation on the middle contact plate, I scraped it off and it works fine now!
