80 + downhill + foot on the gas = 90~...

...so yeah... you WERE "travelling" at 90, not 80....

what's your point? how is 80 safe but 90 not?

for some drivers even 25 isn't safe whereas others can handle cars safely at speeds much higher than the limit.

(though even I admit there is a limit...probably 100+ is on the unsafe side, unless the freeway is empty, in which case you should be allowed to do anything you want)

TO ANSWER THE QUESTION (wait.. I thought mods were supposed to discourage off-topic posts not engage in them): I would definitely get a Valentine V1 and get the "concealed display" module..check out http://www.valentine1.com/, the links on the left hand side should make some informative reading to all interested.

Anyways, I think I need one of these, which was the main reason I posted on this thread in the first place.

I should invest in a radar detector...

When you are behind the wheel you are driving and paying attention to the road, not listening to music. The DRIVING part comes first.

Yes I am aware of that. After all, I do drive for a living. I have driven over 70k-80k over the last year and half and I have no accidents.

Sure, I am young and inexperienced but I think I'm not doing that bad of a job. I was an idiot and got a ticket for it and haven't harmed anyone.

Now please stop flaming me.
