New G, quick question

Hello everyone, Just joined the club with an 08 G35.

I had a question, what RPM is your car on when it is going 75 - 80mph?

I'm used to being in the 2000 range, but the G is over 3000. I'm just wondering if that is normal or is there another gear it is not going to?

Thanks,
Alex

Congrats, Alex, on your new G and welcome to the 'Driver site. I'm going to relocate your question to a better suited section.

Your trans is broken and isn't shifting into 9th. Take the car down to the dealership for service immediately!!

Hopefully (for the reasons you described above) for all the A/T folks, Infiniti goes ahead and drops the 7A/T from the '09 FX into the US market '09 G. They're already going ahead with it for the '09 Euro spec car. Us 6M/T guys will still be stuck cruising at 3k @ 70 mph though.
