A few other things about the screen..

For the Mode (album, play list etc see the image rpm&my_G35 posted above of his radio) on the left part of the screen (P-T on the image): The text limit is 10 Chars. For example if your playlist name is more than ten characters it truncates. "My Playlist 1" becomes "My Playlis".

For the Artist and Song Name on the right (see the image rpm&my_G35 posted above of his radio the Artist and Song is "Puddle of Mudd" and "Take it all Away") the text limit is 30...if it is greater than 30 it will display 28 text characters and two periods "..". For example "Everybody wants to go to Heaven but no one wants to die!" becomes "Everybody wants to go to Hea.." (song by David Crowder Band by the way, of the "A Collision" CD or on the screen "A Collisio" )

Not too bad if you ask me. However DONT COMPLAIN about these "limitations." It is not a Infiniti deal or a iPod deal, just a screen real-estate topic. I have the same issue with my Apline deck in my other vehicle. So NO COMPLAINING ABOUT this G35Driver forum people..pretty please.... !

Not to derail the thread, but I'm pretty happy with my 4GB CompactFlash card full of MP3s. Remember, nothing to hook up or modify and it works along side of my XM satellite radio.

The nice thing about an ipod is that you can dock it to your PC and it will add/delete tracks (like on a ipod shuffle). I wish there was something like this for CF cards.

I read somewhere that realplayer will sync to flash memory. I haven't tried it.
