G35S WINS Edmunds Sport Sedan Comparison

Finally a comparison to the BMW (and notable others) that I really, really, like.
2008 Mercedes-Benz C350 Sport, 2008 Lexus IS 350, 2008 Cadillac CTS, 2007 BMW 335i, 2007 Infiniti G35 Sport.

I know there's a sticky with all these reviews. Maybe this could be added if it's not in there already there. I just didn't see it there.

I looked a little deeper...this was post #80 on pg 4 in the The 07+ G35 Sedan - All Reviews sticky by TMN. I think it should be first on the list. How about you guys?

i agree.....the competition was top notch and the person that gave the review hit all the points right on the head.

To say BMW was under the G is a bit of a stretch but after you read it you'll under stand why the G won the overall, in the editors opinion.

Personally the only downfall i can find from the 335i is the price and its aging interior. Priced comparably to a fully loaded G35x in Canada, it is around $10K more and the G is also offered at up to $4,500 off as an incentive not to import one from the states. in no way is the 335xi $10,000 better than the G35x IMO

nice. I guess journey and sport are totally different machines. When i drove the Journey it felt like **** compared to the BMW 335.

I kinda wish i had gotten the sport package... but then i am a calm driver so its all good...

Also keep in mind BMW owners have a feel for their car... for some 3 series may be better... just keep in mind ... its expensive...

my brother ways a 335 ... and he will get cause he can afford... he is even willing to go to the 328 for the gas mileage... since he prefers bmw's ..

nothing we can do... people are still going to buy what they want... i just like that we all saved 10K (basically gas money for us )

To each his own...

that was a good read. 0-60 time is 5.5 and quarter in 13.9. not bad at all. Again though, the G takes a hit in its interior, which i agree, it sucks! but for the joy of stepping on the gas pedal and the return of that, i can live with a sub-par interior.
