Music Box Question

Just got my 2008 GXS with Prem, Nav and Sport. I LOVE it..

can someone tell me if I have to be listening to the CD in order to rip it to the music box?

Nope.

Put the CD in, hit record, and go listen to whatever you want.

You'll have a 'record' icon like the 'traffic' icon that indicates that car is recording.
