Unhappy Rear Windshield Tint Issue

Hi all,

I just tinted my G35 last weekend with 35/20/20 HP Supreme. The first thing I noticed while driving at night was that the reflection of the defog lines from the car light coming from behind. Other than the car headlight, I also saw a stack of thin light alone. Sort of like

--O-O--

where the O is the headlight of car behind me. Do you guys have an issue like this when the rear windshield is tinted?
Thanks

Yup, same effect with all cars with aftermarket tint that I've driven.

My rear window tint( done at Sewell Infiniti) is so bad that it almost makes me dizzy to look out the rear window. Whoever did the install must have been drunk. It is so wavy it's unbelievable. I need to take it in, but I hate leaving it with them and its a 40 mile drive. I've had other cars tinted but nothing ever like this.

I just had my car tinted with 20% all around and I get the same problem. It is annoying but I don't think there is anything we can do.

I have a 35% tint on the rear and yes I experience the same lines of light when I look in my rearview mirror at night. To tell you the truth, I thought it was caused by the auto dimming mirror (I never had this feature on a car before, but then I never had aftermarket tints before either). Anyway, it's not an issue for me (I don't find it distracting or anything like that). Give it some time and you will probably get used to it.

It's not as bad on this car as it was on my 2k7 Camry SE. I do have the same problem though with 35%.
